Gratitude- A Door To Contentment
YOU TAKE ALL THE THINGS AROUND YOU FOR GRANTED!
I've seen dogs limp
I've seen dogs die in pain because of tumour
I've seen birds suffer during kite "festivals"
I've seen those small flies on the walls being eaten alive by lizards on the walls
I've seen a kitten right form its birth to its unfortunate death (as a kitten only)
I've seen cocks and hens being brought to the slaughter houses
You could be the dog, the bird, the fly, the kitten and these are just the tip of the ice berg.
Most of you have five sense organs. A functioning brain. Freedom and liberty in almost all necessities required.
You are alive with freedom and rights. You are secured. You don't have to keep thinking of bringing food on the table. You have the ability to express. You get assistance from another human being when in pain.
→Do not think that all that you've gotten are just bare minimum (because everyone has them). You live in a privileged society.
→Do not confuse it with necessities.
→Also don't just remember God only when you're in misery, TRY REMEMBERING HIM EVEN WHEN YOU ARE CONTENT.
THESE ARE PRIVILEGES FOR MOST OF THE LIVING BEINGS ON THE PLANET (92% to be precise).
