It's all about Committing To It And Taking One Step At A Time


My blog is all about yoga, healthy lifestyle and being fit. So all of these have one thing in common-they're all not easy to achieve. In my previous post I talked about something similar to what I am going to talk  about in this post. Taking that further, I want to tell you all that it all starts with a mindset and putting in your heart and soul into it. And by mindset, I mean how willing you are and how bad do you want it.

No matter what people say, what you feel about it later on, once you've started (cause that feeling will always tell you to stop doing it, that it's not worth the price). Basically it's the other voice inside of you that is pulling you down. And you by listening to it let it prevail over your other voice (which is suppressed by that bad voice). Believe me, suppressing the bad voice takes a lot of energy and strong will.

Therefore, feed your brain also a healthy diet like you should be dong to your stomach (which I will be getting to in my later posts). And by healthy diet what I mean is read books of self improvement, growth. Books that I would recommend you start with is some of the great people from the past whom you know about. This will tell you why they were great in the first place with a lot of lesser known facts. For instance, I stay in India, so few of the great people about whom I can start reading will be Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Ajad, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, and maybe greatest of the great like Napolean Bonaparte, Alexander-The Great. This way I will be able to relate to them also such stories have lot of valuable life-lessons.

And here's something that you might not want to hear but you need to- starting and sticking to something for a month is a great achievement, it may appear also that you've held on to it for quiet a while now. But trust me, it is still something that you may lose grab of subsequently. No, I'm not trying to kill your thunder, in fact it is great you stuck to it for like a month but that is an achievement the size of a pea whereas you've to reach the size of a full goddamn football field, if not the world.

P.S.- Now don't get me wrong. You may wonder it will take me like forever to achieve something the size of the world when here I'm struggling to even stick to an achievement the size of a pea.
